So, tonight we got our taxes done.
Last month, we met with our tax lady, Christine, to go over what we had so far, and to get an estimate of this year's damage. She estimated that we'd end up paying in about $1900 to Federal and $200 to state.
As it turns out, our situation turned out to be much more favorable.
We are getting (drumroll please).... 3 dollars back from our friends at the IRS. 3 big ones. 3 smiling George Washingtons. Love it.
I have never been more thrilled about $3. Ah, the simple things in life.
